Reflections of Mom’s Garden
I took this self-portrait today in Mom’s garden. She has a decorative garden sphere that sits on a pedestal near the fence. The sphere sits among her plants and reflects the light from nearby objects.
If you click to enlarge the image, you will get a better view of the arch behind and to my left and my sister BB is on my right. All of the other stuff you see is Mom’s knick-knacks and what-nots that she keeps in the garden.
Quad Amaryllis
I love when an amaryllis comes out with quadruple blooms pointing to the four points of the compass. This is a nice one which had all four flowers fully open yesterday. I have others that are only bipolar, but the flowers are just as pretty. Click for big.
A Butterfly for Mom
I got these potted red mums for Mom on Mothers Day. The bonus is this really pretty jeweled butterfly on top of the bunch of flowers. Mom loves butterflies.

Mona Lisa — the Rose
Not to detract from the lovely and priceless art of Leonardo da Vinci, but these Mona Lisa roses give the famous painting in the Louvre a run for the money.
Water Fight
Sisters BB and Carol were entertaining Drake in Mom and Dad’s backyard today. One of his favorite moments was squirting them with the spritzer I use to water some of Mom’s plants. He was laughing so hard . . .
