Digital Keyboard

yamaha-kbd.jpg

Several months back (a year maybe?) my digital keyboard gave up the ghost. I have been thinking about a replacement, so I went on-line and ordered this one. It’s a Yamaha 61-key synthesizer. It got very good reviews and was priced around $270 USD including shipping and accessories.

I started playing when I was five years old and I have almost always had a piano or organ, so I sort of missed having one. I’m looking forward to playing this nice new shiny rig.

Little Flower, Big Name

Argyranthemum Red is an awfully big name for these tiny flowers. Measuring less than an inch wide, these little guys add a lot of color to the garden in spring and summer. There are only a couple of these in the patio today, but there will be many, many more soon.

White Ice

Well, a white Icelandic poppy to be exact, opened this week in the planter on the front porch. Click on the image to view full-sized.
