Custom RV Plate Ordered

Custom RV Plate

Yesterday, I got on the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) internet connection and searched for a custom plate for the “Roadrunner,” our new RV Motorhome. Luckily, the alphanumeric sequence of “VRNABOB” was available. Had there been the availability of eight, rather than seven, character limit, I have no doubt that I would have been able to get both of our names complete without having to concatenate the “E” out of VERNA’s name. Our New Motorhome in 3D

Our New Motorhome in 3D

Our inaugural voyage in “Road Runner,” our new Georgetown 30X3 motorhome took us to Palm Desert, CA to see Baby G and his parents. While we were in the RV Resort, I took a couple of images to merge into this nice anaglyph image of the big rig parked in our assigned space. Click on the image to enlarge.

You will need your free pair of 3D glasses to view the image (click image to enlarge). As usual, I have posted a 2D image here.

I also took another pair of images from the rear of the RV. You can see the 3D image here and the 2D image here.

Baby G Is Ticklish

Baby G Ticklish

We drove the new RV across two deserts today so we could see our new grandson again. JJ and Sara brought Baby Jerry to visit us in the new RV now anchored at the Emerald Desert RV Resort in Palm Desert, CA.

It was a nice visit and I got to hold the baby who laughed, smiled, farted and laughed again, much to my delight! I just love him to bits! Click on the image to enlarge.

Bye Bye For Now Baby G

Bye Bye

Today, we drove home from a two-day visit with our new grandson, his mom and dad and the baby’s other set of grandparents. We have been trying to make regular visits to the Palm Desert area where his parents bring him to meet us at a point less than halfway between the baby’s house in Pasadena and ours in Wickenburg.

It was a nice visit. We pulled the trailer to a nearby RV resort on Wednesday, camped for the night and then brought a Mexican takeout luncheon to the in laws place. I held the baby as much as I could while we were there. I just love him!

In the image above, I am saying goodbye for now with another planned visit to take place in about six weeks. Click on the image to enlarge.

Tree Flower

Tree Flower

I don’t know the name of the tree in the Hawthorne, NV, RV park where we stayed last night, but it has these pretty poof ball flowers in bloom. Tonight, we’re in the foothills near Reno, NV, where there are no flowers, just pine cones.

Baby G Video

Grandma Verna got to hold our new grandson today. He is the cutest little thing. This video shows him working real hard to pass his last meal of milk that Verna fed to him just before.

He is small, still just over five pounds, but perfect in every way. He has a nice round head, long fingers and toes, is gaining weight and, of course, pooping and peeing his fair share. We hated to say goodbye for now when we headed back to our campsite.

The other set of Grandparents told us that the new little guy will be visiting them often and said we’re welcome to come here whenever he’s in town. We will probably be back in September when we are planning to take our next California trip.
