We saw this giant Radio Flyer Wagon parked along Western Avenue in Torrance CA today. It appears that this one is actually a motorized, drivable replica of the ubiquitous little red wagons we all knew and loved as kids. This one had a tongue and handle to complete the effect. It looks like it’s a rolling advertisement for a nationally known body shop chain. Click on the image to enlarge.
Vacation
Long Ride
I just don’t like to ride in the truck very much. I am always anxious to stop and get out. The Mama took this picture of me while we were going to the far away place in California. I was in the back seat of the truck and wanted to get in front with the Mama.
I was OK when we finally got to the far away place, but there will be more riding in the truck for the next week when we go to more far away places. Click on me to make me big.
California Campin’
We try and make the puppies comfortable when we bring them with us to California. Cabela and Bay Bay always have relocation and separation issues when traveling or checking into a hotel. The best solution for them is to make them feel at home by bringing toys and chews for them. Click on the image to enlarge.
Catalina Flashback
When we got married on Catalina Island, it was about five years before we returned for another visit. This photo was from our vacation there in September of 2004, almost ten years ago.
I was rummaging around some of the photo archives on the terabyte disk and found this one taken as we departed for the mainland. Click on the image to enlarge.
Flashback – 2008 Summer Vacation
My camera robot took this photo when Verna and I were visiting the Grand Canyon Desert View on July 23, 2008. We have been living in Arizona for almost three years and have only visited the canyon once in that time. We’re planning a trip this fall that will take us to Indian country and perhaps then we will visit the canyon again. Click on the image to enlarge.
