We had a delicious <a href=\"http:\/\/capnbob.us\/graphics\/imageview.php?image=http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/20231022-casserole.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chicken Pepper Casserole<\/a> for late lunch today. <\/p>\n<p>Since it is warm outside here (95&deg;), we spent most of our day inside the RV. There was a power failure for about an hour but, luckily, we were able to run the 6KW generator to keep the A\/C and other appliances going.<\/p>\n<p>We will be heading for home tomorrow morning with a rest stop and visit at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/cagr\/index.htm\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Casa Grande<\/a> on the way. Our route takes us through Coolidge, AZ where the ruins are located. Then, its about two more hours to home.<\/p>\n<p>We have thoroughly enjoyed our outing, particularly watching the <a href=\"http:\/\/vernabob.com\/blog\/2023\/10\/14\/albuquerque-solar-eclipse\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">eclipse<\/a> on Saturday 10\/14. We&#8217;re already thinking about another outing before the big trip to Waco, TX to watch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeanddate.com\/eclipse\/map\/2024-april-8\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">another eclipse<\/a> next April.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re still in South Tucson today, relaxing and dining.
