We stopped to let the dogs do their thing and for Verna to go into the store to do some limited shopping.<\/p>\n<p>After the visit, we resumed our trip for the short remaining distance to our target.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.news4jax.com\/news\/georgia\/2025\/07\/01\/buc-ees-officially-opens-in-brunswick-ahead-of-the-busy-4th-of-july-travel-weekend\/\" target=\"_blank\">From News4Jax<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Buc-ee\u2019s celebrated the grand opening of its newest store Tuesday in Brunswick.<\/p>\n<p>The massive gas station and convenience store is at 7156 Highway 99 off Interstate 95 (exit 42).<\/p>\n<p>This is the third Buc-ee\u2019s to open in Georgia, and the largest yet in the Peach State.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors were lining up hours before the 11 a.m. grand opening celebration on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe got here 50th in line, so we got a free Bucky\u2018s T-shirt and yeah, I\u2019ll take it!\u201d said Lane Anderson and Landen Wade.<\/p>\n<p>They were excited to visit Buc-ee\u2019s famous wall of beef jerky selections, and said they were thrilled to have the new store so close to home.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of Tuesday\u2019s official opening, Buc-ee\u2019s opened its doors Friday to show its appreciation to the Glynn County Police Department, Glynn County Fire Rescue and the Emergency Management Agency, and all the first responders in the community.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Click on the image to enlarge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On our way from Charleston, SC, to our next campsite, we impulsively made an unscheduled stop at Buc-ee&#8217;s in Brunswick, Georgia.
