Panoramas
Malaga Cove Reverse Panorama
Normally, when visiting the seashore, I take panoramic images of the coastline and surf. This time, however, in addition to the usual, I turned around and took a panoramic series of shots of the area behind the cove and combined them into this view. This was taken near Roessler Point, Malaga Cove, Palos Verdes Estates, CA. Click on the image for the full-sized panorama.
Summer Grand Canyon Panorama
This is the Grand Canyon as it appeared on a summer day in July, 2008. The panoramic image came from a series of photos taken at the South Rim near Mather Point. I stitched the photos together to make this panoramic view.
Hopefully, I will soon be able to show this same panoramic view as it appears in the wintertime. Stay tuned.

Sheer Rock Wall
This towering obelisk rises 1300 feet above the canyon floor in Zion National Park. I combined two photos I took in the canyon last summer to capture this view.

Big Red
Last weekend at the Fire Expo, I got this wide-angle shot of an extra-large road grader that the County Fire Department uses for a variety of chores. They use it for everything from making roads to get to a fire, to actually pushing fully involved vegetation and structures out of the advancing fire path. This is a very cool machine for being red hot. You can see Verna admiring this beast at the right. Click for bigger image.
