Last week during our weekly shopping, we passed the flower concession in the supermarket where I spotted these Asian lilies in pots. I found this one with flower pods almost ready to open.
The first one opened yesterday. I took this photo of the open lily after I cleaned up the pollen pods. Removing the pollen makes the flowers last longer, so I’m told.
I have always loved Asian stargazer lilies. They were the featured flower when Bob and I got married. Click on the image for full-size.
