Here’s the latest in my series of three-dimensional anaglyph (red-cyan) pictures. While at Lake Havasu, AZ, I took two pictures to produce this image. One leaning left and one leaning right, to simulate the distance between a person’s eyes. You can read about this technique on my 3D Stuff page. Click on the image to see a larger version. If you don’t have your 3D glasses handy, you can click for a 2D picture of the London Bridge.

House Under the Rock
Canyon de Chelly, in northeastern Arizona has some of the most breathtaking views down into the canyons. There are actually two canyons in the area – the Canyon de Chelly (we visited last year) and this one, the Canyon del Muerto, or “canyon of the dead.” There are ruins in both canyons and each scenic overlook has an anecdote about the canyon before you. This one was about the ‘House under the Rock’ which can be seen in the distance as Verna photographs it. Click for the bigger view.
Riverside at London Bridge
Well, not actually riverside – it’s a section of a canal that McCulloch and company dug through a peninsula on Lake Havasu. The bridge spans the canal at Queen’s Village and is the only thoroughfare from the ‘mainland’ to the ‘island’ peninsula. It was 113 degrees when I strolled down to the water to take this panoramic view. Click on the image below for the full-sized panorama.
Cameron Trading Post
Most years we travel in Arizona, we stay at the Cameron Trading Post. It’s a complex on the Navajo Reservation near the east entrance to Grand Canyon. Rooms are reasonable and they have a great gift shop, restaurant and a very nice garden. This is the panoramic view from the room we stayed in overlooking the little Colorado River gorge. Later this night, we saw an amazing light show, courtesy of the electrical storms north of us. Click for full-sized panorama.
