The Perch

the-perch.jpgThe Mama took this picture of Cabela and me laying on top of the love seat. We like to take naps up here.

I didn’t know that dogs can look out the window from here and see what is happening on the dirt road outside until Cabela showed me. Now we both can bark at people, trucks, cars and other critters we see outside.

I have been with my new hoomins for three weeks now and I am getting very well adjusted at the new house. I like it here at the new house and I love my new hoomins. Click on the picture to make us bigger.

Cholla Spikes

The Hassayampa River – East Bank

After visiting the Wickenburg Sportsmen’s Club on Saturday, we drove down a road along the east bank of the Hassayampa River This view shows Vulture Peak in the distance and the river in the foreground. The town is in between the two landmarks. Click on the image to enlarge.

Mobile Mesquite

There is a small mesquite tree between the RV entrance and the courtyard. I had the landscaping crew trim this tree a bit so I could have a place for wind chimes and mobiles. I got a sunburst mobile at Big Lots last week. I think it adds a little fall color to the yard. Click on the image to enlarge.
