Hummingbird at the Feeder

Easter Lily Cactus Flower
These two beauties opened in the wee hours last night. I managed to get this shot of them before the hot midday sun wilted them. Only temporarily in bloom but captured in this photo of them for your (and our) enjoyment. Click on the image to enlarge.

Flag Day
Yesterday, we bought several red, white and blue bouquets of artificial flowers that included little American flags. We placed them around our mailbox holder just in time for Flag Day. Click on the image to enlarge.
More Landscaping
The landscapers installed several new things in the courtyard, by the driveway and in the “orchard.” They planted several silver sage shrubs along the driveway. The image is the before and after of the sage. We also had a flowerless plum tree, three fragrant cleveland sage and three red bird of paradise shrubs planted in the courtyard. The “orchard” has been planted along the RV drive through, namely one lemon and one orange tree. Click on the image to enlarge.
