A Flying Leap – by Cabela

mid-air.jpgI just love it when the Mama and the Daddy throw my squeaky toys for me. The Mama throws my toy on the sofa and I try to catch it in mid-air. I will play hard for about five minutes and then I lay down for a nap.

The Mama threw the toy and the Daddy took this photo of me in mid-air jumping up to get the toy. Click on me and the toy to make us big.

Play With Me

Throw my little squeaky toy so I can chase it and play with it. I like when the hoomins throw my toys and I can play keep away with them. I run around the coffee table and jump up on the sofa and love seat to keep the toy away from them. Click on me to make me big.

A Spa For The Patio

new-spa.jpgVerna and I decided to get our patio screened in to keep critters and vermin outdoors where they belong. We had a patio screen contractor who was recommended by our house contractor come over on Saturday to measure the space and to start working up a proposal.

Image – the new spa that we ordered last night

While we discussed the details of the screen installation, I suddenly came to the conclusion that if we were going to get a spa, we better have it on the patio before the screen is installed. Technically, We probably could get the spa through the 36 inch wide doors after the contractor installs the screen, but we believe it will be much easier to just have it on the patio in the first place.

So, last evening I ordered the unit shown above. With shipping, tax and delivery, it was a little over $3k from Wal Mart.

Bear Cut Day

The hoomins took Cabela and me to the groomer today. We both had baths and I got a summer haircut. This is us all nice and clean and me with my new haircut. Click the picture to make us big. OK – nap time – bye!

The Saguaro and Us

This should give you a pretty good idea of the height of our saguaro cactus. I’m 5’8″ and Verna is right at 5′ tall. The saguaro is at least 13′ and growing. Click on the image to enlarge.
