Family
Just a Few More Weeks
We dropped the dogs off at the groomer for baths and a trim for bear. We attended the gun show in town and then went out to the new house to bask in the afterglow of a very satisfying week. The kitchen and bathrooms cabinets are all installed and they look great! Interior paint looks complete and we have seen and approved the exterior paint color.
We spent a bit of time wandering around the lot, looking at the layout and discussed where we wanted to put rock gardens, foliage, walls and dog run. It was a lot of fun to anticipate how we will be personalizing the new place.
In the photo above, we’re standing on the front porch with the great room window behind us and our master bedroom to the left of the front door. Click on the image to enlarge.
Cabela and Tebow
Cabela certainly has more energy than Bear does. This is a photo of her playing with “Tebow,” her squeaker toy. She takes the toy, runs around the family room, stops to squeak it a few times and then runs some more. After a couple of minutes of that she will drop the toy and jump up on the couch and crash. Verna’s New House
. . . almost.
I took this picture today of Verna standing in her new kitchen with the great room behind her. The front door entry is on the right. Of course, a lot of things are still missing but they will soon appear. We’re hoping to be able to have Thanksgiving Dinner in the new house. Click on the image to enlarge.
Trip to the Vet Place
The Mama and the Daddy took Bear and me to see the Vet today. They were worried about a bump I have on my belly. We got to the Vet place and they said I have an irritation because of a stitch in my tummy that didn’t dissolve yet. They poked it and said I will be better, but it didn’t hurt to start with. Oh well, the Mama and the Daddy were glad I will be OK. I’m going to chase around with “Tebow,” my squeaker toy now, Bye.
