Critters

Burro

Burro

On our way to get dinner this evening, we saw several burros milling about the mobile home park where we are staying. This one came up to the car window expecting a handout of carrots or apples. Cute. Click on the image to enlarge.

A Pod of Dolphins in the Pacific

Dolphins

We keep in touch with a friend in California via the internet. “DrJim” is a scientist who occasionally goes to sea on a vessel whose purpose is to launch geosynchronous satellites from the equator. Jim sent us this photo of a pod of dolphins somewhere between Los Angeles and 154° west longitude at the equator. The helicopter pilots were up on a photographic mission when they spotted the dolphins. Click on the image to enlarge.

The Birdman of Wickenburg

The Birdman of Wickenburg

One of our most enjoyable toils in retirement is to keep the bird feeders full to attract the little critters. Verna gets some pretty good images of the little feathered visitors to the feeders. Verna took this photo of me filling the feeders today. The red bottle to my left contains anti-squirrel spray to ensure that the furry little thieves keep away from the treats for the birds. Splash Time

Splash Time

The Mama and the Daddy took us to the dog park today. I had a lot of fun running around and when the Mama filled up the tub with water, I took a dip and splashed around. It was fun! Click on the image to enlarge.
