Joys of Dog Ownership

Joys of Dog Ownership

When I say “Dog Ownership,” I actually mean the DOGS OWN US. Verna took this photo of me coming down Gloria’s Driveway today holding a bag of the puppies everyday contribution to the perpetuation of the ecology of the planet. These bags go to the landfills and eventually decay so that the nitrogen cycle of the contents can be released, thus completing the aforementioned contribution.

We had rain today, badly needed in the desert and there is more forecast for the week to come – April Showers/ May flowers. Click on the image to enlarge.

Badass Baby

I purloined this image from the FecesBook® thing. Our granddaughter decided to cut little Alex’s hair into a Mohawk and spike it with red dye for this shot. Badass Baby Great Grandson with tattoos and all. Click on the image to enlarge.

Portable Baby Caddy

When the kids bring our grandson to visit us in the RV, we saw a need to have something like in the image above; a place where baby can sit while the parents and grandparents do their visiting. The little fold-up item is a KidCo GoPod portable baby activity station. We now need to purchase some little toy items that can be attached to the Velcro strips surrounding the baby. We brought the GoPod this visit to California and the baby seemed to like being in it. The baby activity toy he has needs to be attached – well – so it doesn’t get pushed or tossed on the floor. We’re working on that.

Baby G New Picture – Playing with A Toy

Baby G Toys

My son sent me this photo of Baby Jerry in his crib playing with a baby toy. He is getting to that age where colorful things interest him.

We bought him a couple of interactive toys that we plan on taking to the place where we meet on our next visit out there. I think he will like the Baby Einstein music and play button toys we got him.

Gramma Loving Baby G

I rocked my little grand baby, Jerry, to sleep on our last trip to visit the kids and the baby. I was giving him a kiss when Bob took this photo of us as he dozed off for a little nap.

It is our resolve, now that we have the means to travel and camp near the kids, to meet them halfway so they can bring the baby to the other grandparents home in the Palm Desert area. It is a little under four hours for us to get to the campground, but it would be another two hours beyond that to actually get to their home in the Pasadena area.

I’m glad they can come and visit with us when we go there. I love this little baby sooooo much! 😀

Mallards

Mallards

There is a large pond in the RV resort very near where we were parked during our recent visit to see the kids and grandson. These ducks seem to be part of the landscape when we visit this park.

The baby and his parents were feeding Cheerios to these guys as they came very near our camping spot. This was very entertaining for the six-month old boy who laughed and made noises to try and attract the ducks to come closer, which, of course, they were wise not to have done.
