Palm Desert RV Camping Sunset

RV Park Sunset

We have had a couple of beautiful days camping here in the Coachella Valley. The temperatures and the weather in general have been very acceptable. This evening, we enjoyed this beautiful sunset. Tomorrow, we will be breaking up camp and headed to the Colorado River to visit with our friends who live there.

While we were here in Palm Desert, we enjoyed visiting with our six-month old grandson, his parents and his other grandpa was here, too. We had a cookout yesterday, when I grilled some steaks and Verna fixed the side dishes which we fed to everyone.

We are planning to prepare another steak dinner for our friends at the river tomorrow. After we spend the night there, we will be driving the Roadrunner RV back to Wickenburg.

Baby G and Bentley

The Baby is now almost as big as the family pet, Bentley. His Mama sent us this nice photo of the two of them on a quilt with ABC’s all over it. Click on the image to enlarge.

We will be going out to California again around Valentine’s Day to visit with the other grandparents, the parents, Baby G and Bentley plus our dogs. This time, we’re inviting everybody to the RV Resort to have dinner with us – we’re cooking!

Bob, Pups and a Gorgeous Sunset

Bob carried Cabela and Bay Bay out into the courtyard this evening to watch the setting sun and the colors of the clouds. I took this picture while the dogs were interested in some cottontails or jackrabbits feeding across the road. Click on the image to enlarge.

Granddaughter Anna posted this on the book face thing today. Our great grandson, Alex, sitting on Santa’s lap somewhere in Santa Rosa, CA. Click on the image to enlarge.

Baby G Is Ticklish

We drove the new RV across two deserts today so we could see our new grandson again. JJ and Sara brought Baby Jerry to visit us in the new RV now anchored at the Emerald Desert RV Resort in Palm Desert, CA.

It was a nice visit and I got to hold the baby who laughed, smiled, farted and laughed again, much to my delight! I just love him to bits! Click on the image to enlarge.
