The Dog Park

The Dog Park

The Mama and the Daddy take us to the dog park once in a while. Bay Bay and I love to run around without our leashes on.

The Mama took this picture of us running toward the front gate where another dog was about to come in. We like to meet and greet new dogs when they come to the dog park. Click the picture to make us big.

Bear 1999 – 2013

Bear in 2009

Bob was rummaging through the old photos archive and showed me this picture I took of Bear in 2009. She was always a very good family dog and we miss her. She has been gone since April of last year. Click on the image to enlarge.

Making Friends

Cabela and Bob meet and greet “Mattie,” a new friend at the dog park today. We had been overdue to take the dogs to one of their favorite places, but now that the weather is quite a bit cooler and our schedule of activities and other business has subsided, we can take them more frequently.

I took this photo of Bob and Cabela getting to know “Mattie,” a little fuzzy dog belonging to another couple visiting the park. Everybody played nice and we enjoyed our dog park visit. Click on the image to enlarge.

New Sheets

New Sheets

The Mama got new sheets today and washed them. When they came out of the dryer, I got to test them out while they cooled off. I like to get under whatever laundry the Mama puts on the bed to cool. She then takes them to fold and put away until the next laundry day. I like that! Click on me to make me big.

Our granddaughter, Anna, took this photo of little Alexander David dressed up in a “Monster Truck” outfit that Great Grandma Verna bought for him. Click on the image to enlarge.

The Long Ride

Travel Dogs

The Mama and Daddy took us for the long ride when we go to the other place we used to stay. Cabela and I ride in the back seat and wait for the times we get to go out and sniff and stuff. We do that three or four times before we get to the other place.

I don’t really like the ride, but I settle down after a while and lay down, but I don’t sleep. Cabela sleeps some, but when we slow down for a stop, we’re both very anxious to get out of the truck and sniff and stuff. Click on the image to make us big.
