When the Daddy isn’t using his office chair, I figure it’s fair game for me to curl up in it and relax or take a nap. Sometimes, though, the Daddy will come back in the office and make me jump out to find another place to relax. Oh well, I still love the hoomins, both the Mama and the Daddy. Yesterday, my Mom, Kate, passed from the Earth to her heavenly repose. She was 93½ years old. Ironically, she departed on what would have been my Dad’s and her first husband’s 99th birthday. Verna and I will miss her charming smile and vibrant personality. Click on the image to enlarge.
I took this picture of Bay Bay at the dog park yesterday. I turned on the hose to fill the tub when we first got there. Later, when I saw that the tub was overflowing, I ran to turn the water off. Before I could get there, however, Bay Bay zipped past me and jumped into the tub. He then proceeded to splash around in the tub. We did not teach him this – it came as a built-in behavior. We hadn’t seen the llama for a while when we went to visit Mom at the ranch. Yesterday upon Mom’s return to the ranch, the llama was grazing in the pasture, still showing signs of having been rained upon earlier in the day. Click on the image to enlarge.
Bay Bay gets in the tub after our long morning walk when the weather is hot, but the Mama puts me in there. She rubs me with the water to cool me down. Then I get out and shake off the water before running into the cool house. Click on me to make me bigger.
