In addition to the new clubhouse at the Retirement Ranch, the management is installing a pool for the seniors. The pool is relatively shallow with stairs at both shallow ends and a ladder in the deepest part. There is also a whirlpool spa at the south end of the pool. The pool should be complete in a few weeks. I will post another panorama of the complete, water-filled pool and spa.
Sometimes, when it is really hot outside, the Mama puts me in the tub after my morning walk. Bay Bay jumps in by himself, but the Mama has to help me. I like it, though, it feels nice on a hot day. Click to make me big.
Mom recently moved to a larger room at the ranch. This time, her view is of the facility courtyard and fountain. She is really pleased with this room and enjoys having a private bathroom. I took this photo out of her window today when Verna and I were visiting. Click on the image to enlarge.
Last week, the activity director at the Retirement Ranch asked Mom to play “Happy Birthday” on the piano for one of the other residents there. I took this photo of her warming up for the event. She did GREAT! Click on the image to enlarge.
After walking today, the Mama took off my harness and I got ito my little tub. I like to take a dip when the temperature is over 100 degrees. Click on me to make me big.
My son, Gerald, sent these delightful chocolate-covered strawberries as a Mothers Day gift. They are delicious! I sampled one after taking this photo of them in the box. Click on the image to enlarge.
He also sent me a colorful flower bouquet, which is sitting on the dining room table.
