Point Vicente Panorama
Verna and I took a quick detour to point Vicente today after visiting the County Recycle Center. I snapped a series of images toward the point and Catalina Island and “stitched” them together to make the panorama below. Click on the thumbnail for the full-sized image.

Surfing Pelicans
While we were visiting the Point Vicente Interpretive Center today. many California Brown pelicans soared along the cliffs. Others were surfing – well just above the water, along the breakers, which were pretty large today. Click on the image below to see the full-context of this bird enjoying pelican water sports.

Ocean Panorama at Point Vicente
Yesterday, while we were taking our walk along the path at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center, I imaged several adjacent, overlapping views of the horizon from south to northwest.
