Keepin’ Cool in the Pool
Yow! It’s hot outside these days, especially after taking the morning walk to go do our doody. When we get back, the Mama and the Daddy have this nice wading pool for Cabela and I to cool off in.
Today, I was trying to swim in the water to cool off my back and belly. Cabela got in after I was done. Click on me to make me big.
Take Me to the Mama
The Mama went outside and I couldn’t see her. I went to the Daddy and gave him my worried look because I didn’t know where the Mama went.
The Daddy won’t let me outside without a leash ’cause I run and explore. So, he picked me up and we went looking for the Mama.
We finally found her in back of the house. She took this picture of the Daddy and me when she saw us. Click on us to make us big.
Bumps on Cabela’s Nose
Sometime last few days, something bit me or stung me on my snout. My hoomins didn’t notice when it happened, cause I am always sticking my nose in holes wherever I find them.
The Mama took this picture of me to show the bumps on my snout just behind my nose. They don’t seem to be causing me any pain or discomfort. Click on me to make me big.
Lizard Hunter
I already blogged about Cabela’s lizard obsession the other day. Well, today, she was out in the courtyard again and spent considerable time burying herself up to her haunches in the Cleveland sage looking for the little critter.
Once the lizard got flushed from one of the sage bushes, it would then hide under another until Cabela would again dig under the bush and chase the lizard out. This went on for quite a while.
I thought I was capturing the action on video, but I later found out I was using the HD video function incorrectly and merely got some stills of the action. Maybe tomorrow, when Cabela is in a hunting mood, I can re-stage the scenario and get it on video. Click on the image to enlarge.
