Yesterday, as we were returning from the dentist in Santa Monica, we diverted through the Marina Del Rey via the Venice Canals (see the post below). We wanted to see the scenery and to take some pictures. When Verna looked up to the top of one of the condos along the main Marina channel, she was surprised to see a pirate preparing to launch an attack on vessels in the channel!
