Bob poses near a 600 foot cliff at Canyon de Chelly for this picture. There is no truth to the rumor that I said “Step back just a little.”

Down US89A from the Grand Canyon, toward Navajo Country, is the Cameron Trading Post. This has been one of our favorite stops in Arizona for years. Last night, we stayed in the building just behind us. Overlooking the Little Colorado River canyon, with a nice little garden, this is a beautiful spot!

In between rainy squalls, we were able to visit some of the canyon’s vista points. It was great! This is Verna at one of our stops.

We visited the railroad powerhouse in Kingman, AZ where I got this picture of Bob climbing into an old steam locomotive. Today is his birthday!

On our way into Lake Havasu City, we paused to look at Parker Dam, behind which Lake Havasu was formed as a result of the dam. Verna was taking pictures of the dam and some boats on the Colorado River.
