Looking like it should be much closer to the horizon, the almost full moon tonight is tinted distinctively yellow. Like the green cheese is really yellow Cheddar cheese. The reason, of course, is smoke particles from the catastrophic California Firestorms filtering out blue moonlight, thus making the moon look yellowish.
