Canyon de Chelly, in northeastern Arizona has some of the most breathtaking views down into the canyons. There are actually two canyons in the area – the Canyon de Chelly (we visited last year) and this one, the Canyon del Muerto, or “canyon of the dead.” There are ruins in both canyons and each scenic overlook has an anecdote about the canyon before you.
