I took this 3D image of a small brown lizard on our recent visit to the Botanic Gardens. I found it perched on a chunk of dried out wood in the cactus and succulents garden. It posed long enough for me to take the pair of images necessary for the 3D effect. Click on the image to enlarge.
I was surprised at the number and variety of lizards on the USGS web page that are indigenous to the California Coastal area. This one is likely a ‘small scaled lizard,’ commonly found in both southern California and Baja.
If you don’t have your free pair of 3D Glasses yet, you can see the 2D image here.
