We went shopping earlier this week to get groceries for the upcoming week. When we passed the flower concession stand in the supermarket, I saw some cut iris stems and also some yellow tulip stems. I thought these would look very pretty together in the vase.
I brought the flowers home and arranged them in the vase. Today, the iris started opening to reveal the beautiful purple and yellow complimentary colors. I just love it when a plan comes together! Click on the image to see full-sized.
