This week I have these beautiful Asian Lilies in the vase. According to the label on the wrapper, these are called “Kathryn:”
These gracefully open to form backward curving orange-pink petals brushing to a pearl-white center and throat.

I bought my mom an asian lilly/mona lisa. what is the best way to plant and take care of this flower after the blooms have droped?
Hi Mike,
We were on vacation, so sorry about not answering right away.
These are cut lilies purchased at the flower concession. Normally, if you want to grow these, you will need to start them from a bulb. If you bought your Mom a potted lily, then cut the stems at the soil line and set the pot aside until spring. New stems should emerge.
