Current Sunspot Activity
Sunspot 1575 is currently pointing in our direction. It looks like the class of sunspot that can disrupt things in the electrical grid and in communications satellites. Of course, sunspots can be directly traced to periods of warmer and cooler temperatures on Earth. Click on the image to enlarge.
Our Trailer In 3D
I hitched up the trailer today and towed it down the RV drive to get it out of the way of some work that needs to be done behind the house. After I finished unhitching the rig, I took a pair of images to be merged into a 3D anaglyph image.

Vulture Peak Panorama
Verna took an image looking west from Castle Hot Springs Road yesterday. I cut her image down to make this nice panoramic image of the Sonoran Desert with Vulture Peak in the distance. Very pretty scenery. Click on the image to view the full-sized panorama.
US Highway 60 Improvements
Through most of the summer, the Arizona Department of Transpiration has been working on a one mile stretch of US Highway 60 (Wickenburg Way) through the west side of town.
