A couple of companies on Catalina Island feature web cameras on their internet sites. These folks have made the code available to display the webcam images on our pages, so I have added a new feature, Catalina Island WebCams under the Potpourri menu in the left sidebar. That page offers previews of the webcams in a small window. For the full-sized webcams, check out this larger view. The picture below is an image captured after dark last weekend. You can see the Hotel Metropole (our favorite place to stay there) just to the left of and above the arch next to the Tuna Club in the center of the picture. We’ll be staying there again this fall for our wedding anniversary.
