We drove through Banning Pass, located about a quarter of the way between the California house and our Arizona home when we headed out yesterday. After a recent rain/snowfall, San Jacinto mountain’s northern slopes look to be covered with snow. The peak is about six miles south of Interstate 10 as we pass through Whitewater.
