I took this photo from our hotel room on Tegner avenue in Wickenburg. It was a pleasant, clear evening with warm temperatures and the sound of coyotes singing in the distance.
The trees are in front of a little church across the street. Click on the image to enlarge.
Nice Silhouette
Sounds nice and peaceful! We hear Coyotes recently also. We think they may have been coming from the San Diego Mountains but not sure. Fred, Sherry, Kathy, Sherry’s Dad Victor, and Sherry’s Grandma 92 years old went on this trip in our pop up tent trailer. Hung out at La Jolla Cove beach the days we were there over the labor day weekend. By the way, Verna, if you’re reading this, I am finally making your Kabocha Squash with the recipe you sent. Just been so busy but it still looks fresh because of the hard outter shell. Anyway, wish me luck. It will be the first time we have ever had one of these.
Love, Fred, Sherry, Kathy and Victor (Sherry’s Dad temporarily living with us).
Thank you, John! Sherry your gonna love the kabocha, if you like squash its good.
And your absolutely correct about the hard shell. . .the longer you keep the sweeter they get.Labor Day sounds like fun.
