Well, not of all time and there have been other beavertail cacti around town with flowers opening, but this is the first on our property to open. Bob transplanted this cactus from the upper part of our lot to the rock and cactus garden by the RV drive last year. It has many more flower buds that we expect to open soon. We’re glad that this cactus decided to have lots of spring flowers. Click on the image to enlarge.
