Sunspot 1575 is currently pointing in our direction. It looks like the class of sunspot that can disrupt things in the electrical grid and in communications satellites. Of course, sunspots can be directly traced to periods of warmer and cooler temperatures on Earth. Click on the image to enlarge.

I hitched up the trailer today and towed it down the RV drive to get it out of the way of some work that needs to be done behind the house. After I finished unhitching the rig, I took a pair of images to be merged into a 3D anaglyph image.

We saw a very old desert ranch house while we were about six miles north of SR 74 on Castle Hot Springs Road. It looks all artsy-fartsy when rendered in sepia. Click on the image to enlarge.
