A Colorful Carribean Print

Verna’s Mom, Janie, gave me this beautiful aloha-style shirt for Christmas. I meant to post it last month and now I am finally getting around to it. I love the Spanish Galleon, flowers and ancient maps of the region. Click on the image to enlarge.

New Aloha Shirt

When we visited the Pima Air Museum last month in Arizona, we bought a new Aloha Shirt featuring WWII airplanes superimposed over a green palm tree design. Click image for a close up.

Club Paradiso

Verna’s Mom, Jane, presented me with this beautiful Caribbean print as a belated birthday gift. It’s a Tommy Bahamas silk shirt with a Club Paradiso pattern. We both love this colorful Art Deco theme.

Latest Addition to the Aloha Shirt Collection

We stopped in Kingman, Arizona, on our recent Winter Cruise. There is a tourist spot there called the Kingman Powerhouse, which is a tribute to the railways and Route 66 in Kingman. There is a gift shop there who had their usually high-priced Aloha Shirts at reduced prices. I picked this colorful Route 66 print at Verna’s recommendation. Click on the print to enlarge.

Going Ape

Well, it’s an old expression, but completely appropriate for these slippers Mom and Dad gave me for Christmas. I just love them!
