Peanut Cactus Blooms
Echinopsis chamaecereus is the official name for this cactus. “Peanut” comes from the small pods that if dislodged from the cactus will easily take root. We’re going to take this little cactus with us when we return to Arizona and re-plant it there. Click on the image to enlarge.
Spring Cactus Flowers
Spring has sprung in the desert! The high temperatures here over the past several days have been between 80 and 95 degrees and the cacti flowers have been popping open like crazy.
