Last weekend, as a diversion from running errands and shopping, we took a quick drive to the Interpretive Center next to the Point Vicente Lighthouse on the Southwest side of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. As we passed the lighthouse, I snapped this picture through the open car window. Catalina Island can be seen across the channel.

Here’s a panoramic image of the Redondo Beach Pier — a shot we took a while back on a trip to the beach area. Click the image for the full panorama.

Especially if they can make a pistol when you put them together. I took this shot of my S&W 908 9mm pistol while I was preparing to clean it up after our trip to the range last Sunday. The magazine, which holds eight rounds, slides up the pistol’s handle and is not shown here.

The bulbs are all actively producing beautiful flowers in the garden today. We were on the backyard swing cleaning up our guns after a trip to the shooting range when I grabbed the camera and got this shot of these three daffodils with the sunlight a little behind them. Great colors, don’t you think? Click the image for larger view.

We were out running errands and shopping today, but we paused that activity long enough to go to the Point Vicente Interpretive Center since it was such a nice day. I set up the little camera to get this shot of us as we were enjoying the coastline and the day.

These red and orange tulips look to me like little torches. They are on the coffee table in my Waterford Seahorse Crystal Rose Bowl. The morning sun brings out the tulip colors and makes the crystal sparkle. Click the image for larger view.

This is kind of an experiment on displaying panoramic images in a standard 4 by 3 format. I placed the image in a little window with sliders to allow the user to pan the image. Firefox® users may have to click on the image to enlarge to full size.
Give it a try . . .
