Dogs in the Courtyard

The Mama and the Daddy have let Cabela and me go out into the courtyard without leashes or being carried. This is good. I can lay down in the sunlight and be warm and relax. Cabela just runs around sniffing everything. Click on us to make us big.

The Daddy says that we still don’t have the back gate but he is trusting us to be good dogs and keep away from there. Daddy also says there will be a new gate soon and that we might be able to just run around the courtyard to our heart’s content. Cabela and I will like that.

Beethoven is Five Years Old Today

The Mama and the Daddy tell me that I am five years old today. I have been with them for about three and a half years now since they adopted me. I still am a happy boy and I love it here. We go to the dog park, go for walks, play, eat and sleep.

I slept on the Daddy’s lap yesterday while he watched the TV. I sleep with the Mama at night until it’s time for the Daddy to take me and Cabela for a walk in the morning. The Daddy took this picture of me for my birthday. Click to make me big.

New Sheets

New Sheets

The Mama got new sheets today and washed them. When they came out of the dryer, I got to test them out while they cooled off. I like to get under whatever laundry the Mama puts on the bed to cool. She then takes them to fold and put away until the next laundry day. I like that! Click on me to make me big.

The Long Ride

Travel Dogs

The Mama and Daddy took us for the long ride when we go to the other place we used to stay. Cabela and I ride in the back seat and wait for the times we get to go out and sniff and stuff. We do that three or four times before we get to the other place.

I don’t really like the ride, but I settle down after a while and lay down, but I don’t sleep. Cabela sleeps some, but when we slow down for a stop, we’re both very anxious to get out of the truck and sniff and stuff. Click on the image to make us big.
