The Mama got new sheets today and washed them. When they came out of the dryer, I got to test them out while they cooled off. I like to get under whatever laundry the Mama puts on the bed to cool. She then takes them to fold and put away until the next laundry day. I like that! Click on me to make me big.
First Lemons of The Season
We started harvesting the first lemons from our “orchard” today. In reality, we had to rescue some of the low hanging fruit in danger of dragging on the ground. We did, however, get one nice ripe lemon to garnish a couple of lemon Margaritas that Verna poured.
If you look closely (click on the image to enlarge), you can see the Margarita glasses are a couple of zany skeleton faces that we recently acquired for the Halloween season.
October Skies
This was tonight’s lovely Arizona sunset. We get a lot of these during the fall and winter months and the occasional spring and summer sky and cloud shows around sunset.
The weather is starting to be what we call “second spring,” or that time between summer and fall when the weather resembles that of April and May. Still warm, mid nineties highs and mild lows. We should have a great weekend coming up! Click on the image to enlarge.
